The Doane Women’s Track and Field team ended their season Saturday, March 1, at the NAIA National Championships in Gainesville, Florida, with a runner-up finish. The Tigers posted 48 team points, their best indoor finish as they placed second in 2016 as well. They finished 10 points behind the champion Cumberlands.

Alivia Baucom, a senior from Rock Port, Missouri, paced the women in the shot put with a fifth place finish and mark of 14.06m (46-01.50).

Alivia was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) women’s indoor field athletes-of-the-week for events held January 27 to February 2, 2025. She hit a personal best throw in the shot put with a mark of 14.60m (47’11.00”). It was the third-best in the NAIA at that time and ranked seventh on Doane’s all-time chart.
