The East Atchison boys’ and girls’ basketball team members recently presented with awards honoring them for their accomplishments this season.

The Lady Wolves who were presented with awards included: Taya Windham – Freshman of the Year; Abbie Harms – Gym Rat; Lizzie Schlueter – MVP; Jillian Hannah – Celebration of the Year; Tabby Chaney – Resiliency; Bresayda Jimenez – Hustle; and Grace Oswald – Li’l Floor General. Letter or bar recipients were Lizzie Schlueter, Grace Oswald, Abbie Harms, Charley Caudill, Jillian Hannah, Rainy Nordhausen, Zoe Madron, Grace Caudill, and Taya Windham. Players recognized for their post season honors included: Lizzie Schlueter – 1st Team All-Conference (unanimous selection) and All-District; and Grace Oswald – 2nd Team All-Conference.

The Wolves who received awards included: Alex Erickson – Defensive Player of the Year; Colton Hall – Hype Man Award; Parker Livengood – The Sharp Shooter; Brody Wennihan – The Muscle and Hustle Award; Mason Kingery – The Block Monster; Carter Oswald – Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player; Axyl Slemp – The Bombs Away Award; and Tay Brown – The Blacktop King.
