The Allen-Schiffern American Legion Auxiliary Unit 199 held a meeting March 10, 2025, with four members present. Each member gave their hours and money spent on helping veterans and community service for the month of February. If this wasn’t turned in at the meeting, please contact Sheridan or Linda with hours and money spent. This is the final call for the year.

The meeting was an informal one due to not enough members for a quorum. The minutes and treasurer’s report will be given at the next meeting.

Barb gave a report on membership.

There has been no school contact regarding girls who would like to attend Girl’s State this June. Sheridan continues working on this.

No date has been set for County Government Day. The unit is waiting on the schools and the courts to provide some dates.

Everything is in place for the spring rummage sale April 11 and 12 at the Tarkio Legion Building, located at the corner of Broad and Third streets. Take-in begins March 31 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and ends on Wednesday, April 9. If you need other times for drop off, call the numbers below so that arrangements can be made.
