Roger Masonbrink, 68, of Tarkio, Missouri, passed away on March 31, 2025, in an Omaha, Nebraska, hospital.
He was born in Horton, Kansas, on October 22, 1956, and later adopted by Duane R. and Colleen C. (Hall) Masonbrink. Roger graduated from Humboldt, Nebraska, High School.
After high school he farmed with his brother, David. He also enjoyed farming with Norman Boone for many years, and then worked at Pella for 15 years before retiring due to his health.
On March 15, 1996, he married Christy Michelle Burke, and she survives of their Tarkio home. Other survivors include his sons, Rick (Carissa) Masonbrink, Jase (Haillie) Masonbrink, and Jacob (Paige) Masonbrink; daughters, Melissa Masonbrink and Jordan (Matt) Masonbrink; siblings, Mike (Jerri) Masonbrink, Susan (Jim) Shupp, David (Julie) Masonbrink, Brenda Franks, Kenny (Cindy) Masonbrink, Pat Masonbrink, Loretta Rice, Roberta Deweese and Barbara Anderson; 14+ grandchildren, Lydia, Anthony, Jet, David, Madison, Grayson, Leightyn, Lilly, Liam, Layla, Lennox, Landyn, Brewer, and Briggs, with Brooks on the way; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding Roger in death were his parents; brother, Norman Masonbrink; sisters, Lesa Wilhelm and Charlene Masonbrink; and a grandchild, Anikyn Masonbrink.
Roger enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and RFD-TV, including tractor auctions. He followed the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. Roger liked to fish (but his family says he wasn’t very good at it). Roger loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
