The Northwest Missouri Sportsman’s Club once again invited youth turkey hunters to participate in an online check-in for the chance to win $500 in Scheels gift cards. Eleven youth hunters sent in pictures of their harvests.
Ryzer Hale of Rock Port harvested this nice 25 pound tom sporting a 9 1/2” beard and 1 1/2” spurs. This was Ryzer’s last youth turkey hunt.
Ryann Salmond of Fairfax shot this 17 pound Jake that had a 4 1/2” beard and 1/2” spurs.
Mason Meyerkorth of Rock Port harvested this 23 pound gobbler on Saturday, April 12. It had 1” spurs.
Grady Cook of Rock Port, with some run and gun success, harvested this 20 pound gobbler with a 10” beard and 1” spurs.

Carter Huffman shot this 22 pound turkey that had an 11” beard and 1 1/8” spurs in Atchison County.
Colbie Kent of Craig harvested this 18 pound gobbler that had a 9 1/2” beard on Sunday, April 13.
Maylie Kent of Craig harvested this 24 pound turkey Saturday, April 12. It had two beards, with the main beard measuring 11”, and 1” spurs.
Rylin Bunten harvested his first turkey. It weighed 26 pounds and had 1” spurs and a 9” beard.
Memphis Mick shot this 23 pound turkey that had 1” spurs and an 8” beard.
Grace Dinsdale harvested this 25 pound turkey that had an 11.5” beard and 1” spurs in Nodaway County.
