Fairfax FFA Chapter attends convention

The Fairfax FFA Chapter attended the 97th Missouri FFA State Convention in Columbia. Pictured are, from left to right: front row – Amelia Larson and KayDee Duering; and back row – Alex Martin, Tyler Duering, Carley Graham, and Lexi Brown.  Wednesday evening, all six students attended the opening session and got to hear remarks from Missouri’s Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn and the National FFA President Thaddeus Bergschneider. KayDee Duering, Amelia Larson, Alex Martin, Carley Graham, and Tyler Duering all volunteered time on Thursday afternoon to help with the State FFA Courtesy Corps. Brown performs with State FFA Choir

Fairfax’s Lexi Brown took part in the 2025 Missouri FFA State Chorus, where she spent a couple of days preparing with other choir members and got to perform on Friday afternoon.

 

Fairfax FFA members take part in convention sessions

Amelia Larson and KayDee Duering (at top) served as chapter delegates and attended the business session where delegates set dues for the following year, voted to approve the State FFA Degree candidates, and covered other matters that affect Missouri FFA. Amelia Larson was also able to sign up to second the motion of approving all 2025 State Degree candidates. KayDee also entered her 1st Place Area 1 State Qualifying Scrapbook in a display (above).

 

Rock Port FFA members earn State FFA Degree

Rock Port FFA members Kinleigh Daugherty and Emma Teten both earned their State FFA Degree at the Missouri FFA Convention.
