During the month of April, the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office received 157 calls for service. Twenty-seven of these calls for service resulted in a report.

One arrest was made for driving while intoxicated, two arrests were made for trespass, and three arrests were made pursuant to a warrant.

Five vehicle accidents, seven motorist assists, 12 medical assists, and assorted non-criminal calls were also handled.

Sheriff Andy Riley will be hosting “Coffee With the Sheriff” for residents who have questions, comments, concerns, or just want to say hello.

Sheriff Riley will be available on the following dates:

• Friday, May 9, 5:00 p.m. at KJ’s in Westboro

• Monday, May 12, 10:30 a.m. at the Rock Port Senior Center in Rock Port
