Speaker Paul Siebert will present a program “Echoes of an Era” on June 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Morton-James Public Library Kimmel Gallery, 923 1st Corso, Nebraska City, Nebraska.

In this program Seibert, using the Nebraska state seal and flag as a backdrop, presents a musical living history program of a family’s journey from Russia to Nebraska in the 1870s. Using original and period music with up to seven different acoustic instruments, storytelling, personal family history, period costume and extensive knowledge on the subject of Blacksmithing/metallurgy, Paul presents an interactive, family centered, entertaining program.

Humanities Nebraska (HN) provides major funding for this program. HN receives support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Nebraska State Legislature, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and private donations like the Morton-James Public Library’s Harry and Grace Moller Endowment.
