This was the 20th annual Fuzzy’s Rodeo Ride for Kenny and Joy Clapp and friends. The riders ride their horses and mules or drive their horse and mule-drawn carriages from the Clapps’ residence northeast of Tarkio into town on the Saturday morning of the Tarkio Rodeo Parade.
Seeing the covered wagons drawn by mules, ponies and horses is like stepping back in time.

Everybody wants to take part in Fuzzy’s Rodeo Ride. For those who can’t ride a horse due to injury, they ride in a UTV (at top) and if they are a dog, they get to ride in their owner’s arms on a carriage (above).
