
Robin Joy Henning, the daughter of Tenn O’Dell and Marie Pearl (Cox) Harbin, was born September 18, 1956, in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1974.
On December 31, 1993, Robin was united in marriage to Tony Henning at the United Methodist Church, Tarkio. They made their home in Tarkio their entire married life.
Robin was employed by Tarkio Avalanche. She was then employed by Vic’s Hardware, Tarkio, as a clerk for numerous years. Due to health concerns, Robin retired in 2021.
Robin enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King books, crossword puzzles, and fishing. She loved traveling to the casino. Robin passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 68.
Besides her parents, Robin was preceded in death by brother, Terry Harbin; half-siblings, Elmer Richard Harbin, Tenn Harbin, Jr., and Peggy Harbin; and mother-in-law, Sandra Henning. Survivors include husband, Tony Henning, Tarkio; sister, Joy Jackson, Tarkio; father-in-law, Virgil Henning, Tarkio; brother-in-law, James (Debbie) Henning, Dodge City, Kansas; sister-in-law, Carol Henning, Shenandoah, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, conducted by Rev. Glenn Scott. Open visitation begins at 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 27, at Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, Missouri.
