Jacoby Driskell of Rock Port, Missouri, a member of the Maryville Dance Academy, won over the judges’ hearts with her jazz solo to “Maneater” and was named the national champion at the P3 National Talent Competition. The solo was choreographed by Darbi Rope. She also came home with two double platinums, one judges’ award for outstanding dancer, 7th place for her lyrical solo “Exile,” and finished in the top five in the improv contest for dancers 15 and over.
