The 20th annual Atchison-Holt Ryder Cup took place on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20, 2025, between Rock Port Golf & Country Club, Mound City Golf Club, and Tarkio Golf Club.
The tournament began in Tarkio on Saturday morning with a 9-hole scramble, then moved to Mound City in the afternoon for a 9-hole Best Ball round. The tournament continued in Rock Port on Sunday with teams playing a 9-hole scramble on the front 9 and finished with a 9-hole modified alternate shot. All three golf courses were in great shape this year and each club should be very proud.
The results of the 20th Annual Atchison-Holt Ryder Cup follow: Rock Port Golf & Country Club – 833; Mound City Golf Club – 847; and Tarkio Golf Club – 888. Rock Port Golf & Country Club won the Ryder Cup for the ninth time in 20 years (nine out of the last 12).
The complete history of the Ryder Cup is as follows: 2005-2007, 2010-2012, and 2017-2018 – Tarkio Golf Club; 2008-2009 and 2024 – Mound City Golf Club; and 2013-2016, 2019, 2021-2023, and 2025 – Rock Port Golf & Country Club. There was no Ryder Cup played in 2020 due to COVID.
