Main Street in Rock Port is starting to look a little different – and a lot more vibrant. At the corner of Cass and Main, passersby can now catch a glimpse of a mural in progress, painted by Kate Ottmann, a 2022 graduate of Rock Port High School. Commissioned by the City of Rock Port, Kate is using her artistic talents to create a welcoming mural that not only greets visitors but also offers a sense of direction and community pride. The full design hasn’t been revealed yet, so locals and visitors alike will have to stay tuned as the artwork unfolds over the next few weeks. We can’t wait to see the final masterpiece!
