Community Hospital-Fairfax was honored to accept a check on Friday evening at the Fairfax Fair for $83,000 from the Fairfax Kiwanis Club. Last fall, the Kiwanians spearheaded a fundraising campaign in honor of CH-F’s 75th anniversary. The funds will go toward the expansion of the surgery department and the purchase of new surgical sterilization equipment to support the hospital’s new orthopedic program.
