Rock Port hosted the Princeton Tigers for the home opener on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Blue Jay Stadium. The Blue Jays would catch their stride, putting up 42 points in the first half and 34 points in the second half with the JV seeing most of the action. Runningback Brock Holmes led the way with six touchdowns, followed by Westyn Amthor, Jack Meyerkorth, Case Millsap, Blaise Krogen, and Reid Ellis each having one. Rock Port rushed for 251 yards and 86 receiving. Defensively, they only allowed one touchdown with four interceptions, two by Jack Meyerkorth and two by Brock Holmes. In addition, they recovered three fumbles, one by Brock Holmes, one by Dayton Hays, and one by Gabe Gebhards.

Rock Port will get ready to travel to Tarkio to take on county rival East Atchison on Friday night at M. David Palmeiro Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
