The Brownville Village Theatre (BVT) will present a fall production of Charlene Donaghy’s new play, “4 a.m. Friends.” It is a play that will break your heart with the truth, break open the champagne in celebration, and break you out of jail . . . “It’s the friends you can call at 4 a.m. that matter.”
There will be three performances: Friday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 11, at 2:00 p.m.; and Sunday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m.
Becca, Tammy, and Kim are those kinds of 4:00 a.m. friends with humor, heart, and the ties that bind. A myriad of iconic moments, music, people, fashion, and southeast Nebraska places from the 1970s to present day propel these friends through six short plays as they laugh, fight, argue, support, and love through some of life’s most challenging hurdles, growing from their teens to their sixties – just like you might do with your 4:00 a.m. friends. So why not take them to BVT to see this new play?
