Tarkio Scout Troop 88 held a pulled pork drive-through lunch Sunday, October 5, in the Tarkio Elementary parking lot. The event was held to raise funds to attend Sea Base, a high-adventure scouting program that takes place in the Florida Keys. Another drive-through, free-will offering lunch of chili, brats or hot dogs, jumbo cinnamon rolls, and bottled water will be held Sunday, October 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Tarkio Elementary parking lot. Pictured above are the local Scouts who will attend Sea Base in June of 2026, Owen Vette, Bo Peregrine, Jax Peregrine, Chase Gayler, and Josh Schlueter. Below is Josh handing out meals to Monica and Jack Bailey.
