The Tarkio Volunteer Fire Department, Atchison-Holt Ambulance Service, and Tarkio Police Department responded to an alarm at Casey’s in Tarkio Wednesday, October 1, 2025. An oven mitt accidentally got caught inside one of the pizza ovens and caused smoke to billow out into the kitchen. Thankfully, the incident was quickly resolved.
