Mark William Ryan, age 71, passed away September 17, 2025, at his home in Tarkio, Missouri. He was born December 16, 1953, in Maryville, Missouri, the son of Dennis Jerome “Jerry” and Sarah Lee (Leap) Ryan.

Mark was a 1972 graduate of Tarkio High School. After graduation, he worked for IBP as plant manager for Dodge City, Kansas, Emporia, Kansas, and Dennison, Iowa, retiring in 2013. Mark enjoyed photography and woodworking and was a Civil War enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Ronald Jerome. Survivors include daughter, Nicole Ryan, of Lakewood, Colorado; granddaughters, Jordan, Kaitlyn, and Skyler; brothers, Dennis and David (Mary Kay) Ryan, Tarkio; sister, Debbie (Mark) Sly, Fairfax, Missouri; niece, Tiffanie (Stephen) Gaines, Watson, Missouri; nephew, Tony Sly, Falls City, Nebraska; great-nieces, Stevie and Markie Gaines and Nola and Veda Sly; and great-nephew, Hudson Sly.
