Mound City’s Griffith Park was packed with wine vendors and connoisseurs for Missouri’s Great Northwest Winefest Saturday, October 11, 2025. Hundreds of people enjoyed the delicious wines and brews, as well as the tasty food and shopping opportunities. Pictured above is Tiana Jones of Rock Port serving a wine from Prairie Barn Winery to Atchison County’s Danyal Coon, Delaney Finley, and Kristi Sons. Prairie Barn Winery, located in St. James, Missouri, is owned by Shannon and Brian Tharp, former Atchison County residents.
