Judith Diana Raya, the daughter of Donald L. and Anna Mae (Waugh) Husing, was born May 25, 1951, in Maryville, Missouri. She attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1969. Judy then attended and graduated from St. Joseph Business School, St. Joseph, Missouri.

In 1980, Judy was united in marriage to Gabriel Raya and made their home in St. George, Utah. They became the parents of two children, Sara and Matthew. They later divorced. In 1993, Judy returned to Rock Port, where she lived until the present time.

Judy was employed by Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George as a medical transcriptionist. After returning to Rock Port, she was employed by Casey’s. Later, Judy was employed by Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, as a medical transcriptionist, retiring in 2016.

Judy was a member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Port, and played the piano and organ. She was currently attending Fairfax Methodist Church, Fairfax. Judy often helped Deb Wyatt accompany music students for Fairfax High School. She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed reading and doing word and hidden object puzzles. Judy passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, at the age of 74.

Besides her parents, Judy was preceded in death by infant son, Kyler, and son-in-law, Jeremy Clodfelter. Survivors include children, Sara Clodfelter, Rock Port, and Matthew Raya, Missouri; grandchildren, Keira Ann, Aaron James, and Olivia Quinn Raya; sister, Terry Lair, Rock Port; nephew and nieces, David (Kathy) Lair, Rock Port, Julee (Brian) Peregrine, Tarkio, Missouri, and Amy (Joe) Bradley, Rock Port; numerous grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Greenhill Cemetery, Rock Port. There is no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Judy Raya Memorial Fund. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port.
