The pantry shelves at the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry are overflowing, thanks to the generosity and support from the community the past two weeks. There are still a few food, cleaning, and toiletry items that remain in short supply. They are: bottles of floor cleaner (23 oz. or smaller), toilet cleaner, disinfectant wipes, shaving cream (men’s and women’s), razors (men’s and women’s), bottles of laundry detergent (56 oz. smaller), beef stew, Raisin Bran cereal, vegetable oil (48 oz. or smaller), stuffing mix, Chicken Helper (chicken fried rice), saltine crackers, Tuna Helper (tetrazzini), Hamburger Helper (cheeseburger mac).

The food pantry will be open  Friday, November 14, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 18, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, November 28, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482.
