Sharon Kay Patton was born on May 5, 1943, in Hamburg, Iowa, the daughter of Roy S. and Nora L. (Bell) Patton.

Sharon attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, then worked as a housekeeper.

Sharon passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Rock Port.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Sylvester Patton and Nora Luetta Thornton; brothers, Archie, James, and Robert Thornton; and sisters, Carrie Grebe, Dorothy Resinger, and Donna DeWees.

Survivors include her son, Anthony “Tony” Patton; sister, Jean Erdman of Divide, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
