The Atchison County Development Corporation (ACDC)  held a Youth Professionalism Workshop for Atchison County juniors on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the TAC. The students heard from Ken Eaton with Veregy’s business development and Casey Martin and Marisa Hedlund with the Tarkio R-I School District on the dos and don’ts of interviewing. Doug Garrison with Advanced Pork Systems, Ann Schlueter with Community Hospital-Fairfax, Rochelle Henagan with Midwest Data Center, Crystal Woodring with Northwest Missouri Living Center, Kelcie Gaines with Rock Port R-II School District, Jaycee Graves with KG Buds Designs By Jay, Gus Hurst with Hurst Farms, and Gena Mitchell with Hair By Gena talked about their employer and employee experiences and offered the students advice. Lori Seymour, above, with Midwest Data Center and the Missouri Department of Revenue, spoke to the students about proper customer service.
