Atchison County schools are preparing for their holiday programs and concerts.

FAIRFAX R-3

The Fairfax Music Department will hold their Christmas program for preschool through 12th grade Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fairfax High School Gym.

The Music Boosters will hold a chili/soup supper from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. that evening. A free will donation will be accepted, with proceeds going to the 2029 Branson performance.

ROCK PORT R-II

The Rock Port R-II Elementary Christmas program will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the high school.

The junior high and high school winter band concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. that night.

KIDS’ KORNER PRESCHOOL

Kids’ Korner Preschool students at Tarkio R-I will be performing a holiday program at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, in the Tarkio High School Auditorium. Family members and friends of the preschoolers are invited to attend.

TARKIO HIGH SCHOOL

Tarkio High School musicians will be performing their Christmas Concert for family and friends Wednesday, December 17, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Sixth through 12th grades will be participating in the event, which will include both instrumental and vocal performances. Seating is limited, so be sure to get there early!
