Tarkio Rotary Club President Darryl Lowrey demonstrates a Shure SLXD transmitter and receiver purchased with a $5,000 Rotary District 6040 matching grant for the Rotary Theater.

 

A Shure SLXD sound system control unit was purchased with a $5,000 matching grant from Rotary District 6040 in partnership with Tarkio College d/b/a Tarkio Technology Institute.

 

The Tarkio Rotary Club recently received a $2,500 grant from Rotary District 6040. As a 50/50 matching grant, the club paired $2,500 of the club’s funds for a total of $5,000. The $5,000 was partnered with $8,397.69 from Tarkio College d/b/a Tarkio Technology Institute to purchase 12 Shure SLXD wireless transmitters (microphones) and receivers for the Rotary Theater in the Curnutt Center on the TTI campus.
