Tarkio Parks & Recreation held its 5th annual Christmas Light Parade Saturday, December 6, 2025, on Main Street in Tarkio. It was a balmy 38 degrees, so the street was lined on both sides with parade goers eager to see all the Christmas floats and festively decorated vehicles. There were also several “dignitaries” on hand, including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Buddy the Elf, and The Grinch.
