As the holiday season is in full swing, the Tarkio Nutrition Center is overflowing with joy and gratitude. The “Meal Champion” program has kicked off to a fantastic start, thanks to the generosity of community sponsors. Bill Smith Trucking led the way by covering meal costs from December 15 to 30, followed by the Tarkio Rotary Club, who sponsored the December 31 meal. The momentum continues into the new year, with Rogers Pharmacy and Lori and Kurtis Clark already on board to cover meal costs on January 5 and 6, respectively. The center is thrilled to see the community come together to support this program, and they extend their heartfelt thanks to all the “Meal Champions” who have stepped up so far.
As we look to the new year, the January Product of the Month will be canola oil. For every item donated, participants will be entered into a prize drawing.
With the center open for lunch from Monday to Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., everyone is invited to join in the festivities and experience the warmth and camaraderie that defines the Tarkio Nutrition Center.
