The Tarkio sixth through 12th grade band and choir members serenaded family and friends with Christmas tunes and other music on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, for their annual Christmas concert.

The sixth grade band played “Rather Bumpy Sleigh Ride” and “Santa’s Angry Elves.” Band members are: flutes – Genesis Anaya, Elaine Henning, Joyce Martin, and Hannah Wennihan; clarinets – Rose England, Jarrett Jackson, and Alyce Wills; alto saxophones – Lynora Kimpston and Jaina Murray; trumpets – Jorja Peregrine and Victor Perez; trombones – Diyan Patel and Tavyn Smith; and percussion – Andrew Gladman and JJ Nichols.

The junior high band performed “Ice Dancers,” “All is NOT Calm,” and “Last Christmas.” Band members included: flutes – Mame Dow, Jerald Goodin, Olivia Searl, and Lyla Walker; clarinets – Sophie Hegstrom, Katie Smith, Tucker Wheeler, Aliyah Wilke, Mikayla Windham, and Kenisyn Yost; saxophones – Brody Anderson, Winston Hogue, Tucker Hurst, Brynleigh Lopez, and Kora Milla-Boomgaarn; trumpets – Ava Brown, Michael England, Ella Haler, Jackobi Robertson, and Bryar Wennihan; french horn – Andrew Romesser; trombones – Owen Bruce, Lexi Caudill, Landry Hurst, Graceyn Reeves, and Titus Wright; baritone – Charlie Piper; tuba – Landon Driskell; and percussion – Tristan Burke, Eli Lundy, Cayson Martin, and Jasper Navin.

The high school band performed “Mary Did You Know,” “A Silent Night in Scarborough,” and “Christmas Vacation.” Each year, the Tarkio outgoing senior band members are recognized at the concerts and allowed to sign director Nathaniel Wehmeyer’s podium. Senior Bresayda Jimenez will be doing school-to-work next semester so this was her last band concert. She left her autograph on the podium.
