Demolition began this week on the former Atchison County Farm Bureau building in Rock Port, Missouri. Dan Athen, with supervision from Scott Jones, started the removal on Monday, January 12, 2026. The top photo is a shot of the building from the alleyway as Dan Athen removes the roof. Over the years, as the trucks and equipment housed in the fire station have increased in size, it has become necessary to expand the fire house.
