Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry has a list of items each church is encouraged to donate for the month of January:

Baptist Church – Canned fruit (pineapple, apricots, peaches, pears, fruit cocktail, and mandarin oranges) and dish soap

First Christian Church – Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper, Chicken Fried Rice Chicken Helper, Tetrazzini Tuna Helper, and juice (apple, grape, and cranberry)

First Lutheran Church – Peanut butter (creamy), strawberry jelly and grape jelly

United Methodist Church – Spaghetti sauce, elbow macaroni, and spaghetti

Grace Church – Spam, canned chicken, and bar soap

The food pantry will be open Tuesday, January 20, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, January 23, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482.

Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: apple juice (64 oz.), cake mixes (chocolate or white), flour (5 lbs.), creamy peanut butter (16 oz.), boxed potatoes (au gratin, scalloped), Chicken Helper, Jello and instant puddings (small boxes), chili style beans, ground beef (1 lg. pkg.), and laundry detergent.

The food pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. the third and fourth weeks of each month. The pantry is also open the third Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, the food pantry is also closed.

Donations to the food pantry, are always appreciated. Monetary donations may be sent to Anita Sutter, treasurer, at 26287 290th Street, Fairfax, MO 64446.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.
