Despite the cold weather, a large crowd turned out to support the Fairfax Fire Department at their fish fry Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Everyone gets in on the action to keep ahead of the crowd as they fry chicken, carp, and catfish, and French fries for the fire department’s fish and chicken fry.

It was all hands on deck for the Fairfax Fire Department fish fry. Rick Kemerling, Kody Kemerling, and John Brown keep a close eye on the fish as they fry it.

The Fairfax Fire Department got everyone involved as several of their kids helped serve everyone as they came through the line.

Steve Stevens is busy prepping the fish and chicken for the fryers.
