Morgan Parshall graduates from Washburn
Washburn University recently announced the students in its fall 2025 graduating class. These students completed their courses for certificates, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees – 678 total from Washburn University, Washburn University School of Law and Washburn Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech).
Morgan Parshall, Fairfax, Missouri, graduated with a certificate or degree in Law.
Smith named to SDSU’s fall 2025 Dean’s List
South Dakota State University recently announced that Oliver Smith of Fairfax, Missouri, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2025 semester.
To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Locals named to Washburn University’s Dean’s List
Washburn University has announced its fall 2025 Dean’s List honorees. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99. More than 1,050 students qualified for the Dean’s List. Natalie Hedlund and Kendal Straub, both of Fairfax, Missouri, were among the honorees.
Iowa State University announces fall 2025 Dean’s List
More than 11,800 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2025 fall semester Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must earn a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
Atchison County students recognized were Avery Meyerkorth, Rock Port, Missouri, and Aaron Schlueter, Tarkio, Missouri.
