Young at Heart Resources, the Area Agency on Aging in Northwest Missouri, is conducting a series of classes to introduce retirees to various opportunities to volunteer at non-profit organizations. This series of classes, called Give 5, will be held at the Joyce Raye Patterson 55+ Activity Center the first two weeks of March and are for residents of Atchison County as well as Buchanan County.

The Give 5 Program connects retirees with great volunteer opportunities. Volunteering is a way to contribute, socialize, learn new skills, share your lifetime of experience, have fun, meet new people, and make a difference!
• Discover volunteer opportunities from local non-profit organizations over four class meetings.
• Enjoy a delicious free meal with your classmates and make new connections.
• Choose where you wish to volunteer at the end of the two-week program and become a Give 5 graduate.
• Give five hours or more as a volunteer after completing the program.
