Atchison County’s University of Missouri Extension has recognized Ben Rogers and Ben Lucas as the 2026 MU Extension Leaders Honor Roll recipients. The Leaders Honor Roll celebrates outstanding volunteers whose service, leadership, and dedication strengthen their communities and advance MU Extension’s mission across Missouri.

“The Extension Leaders Honor Roll is an opportunity for county extension personnel to recognize the many ways volunteers lead and serve at the local and county level,” said Randa Doty, MU Extension Engagement Specialist. “Their efforts are invaluable, and we honor those who are committed to advancing the work of MU Extension.”

Both Rogers and Lucas have provided years of service to the Atchison County Extension Council, holding offices and contributing consistently to local programming and community engagement. They are known for their willingness to share ideas, offer support, and step forward whenever help is needed. Their leadership has strengthened the county’s outreach efforts and ensured that extension resources remain accessible and impactful for residents.

Rogers and Lucas were honored at the Atchison County Extension Council annual meeting on February 9, 2026.
