A Court of Honor ceremony held last week recognized Tarkio Boy Scouts Bo Peregrine and Isaac Vette as having attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Becoming an Eagle Scout takes years of dedication and hard work and is something only 4% of Scouts achieve. Bo, the son of Brandon and Jennifer Peregrine, repainted the outside of the North Polk Schoolhouse in Tarkio as his Eagle Scout project. Isaac, the son of Tim and Kara Vette, installed a gravel base for St. John’s Lutheran Church’s playground to provide a stable base as his Eagle Scout project. Troop 88’s sponsoring organization is the Tarkio Rotary Club. Tim Vette is the Scoutmaster. Both boys are seniors at Tarkio High School. (Jennifer Peregrine photo)
