Dan and Sally Vietze of Tarkio were among the many hungry patrons who stopped by Community Hospital-Fairfax Auxiliary’s chili/soup supper Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Fairfax, Missouri. Over $1,600 was raised at the event, which will be used to purchase new hospital beds at Community Hospital-Fairfax.

Kay Bulger and Carroll Jones of Tarkio, Missouri, enjoyed the delicious chili and soup, as well as the homemade cinnamon rolls the auxiliary provided at the Fairfax R-3 Cafeteria.

A wreath raffle also raised additional funds for the auxiliary’s scholarship fund. Auxiliary member Gerry Tohill put in for a chance to win the wreath. Tickets for the wreath are available at Community Hospital-Fairfax’s gift shop and the drawing will take place April 2.
