Speaker David Seay will present a program, “Train Songs and Tales,” on April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Morton-James Public Library Kimmel Gallery, 923 1st Corso in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

What is it about trains that so easily engages one’s imagination? Climb aboard with David as he shares a variety of railroad inspired songs and stories that offer peeks into the past from a wide variety of points of view. This upbeat excursion is accompanied by guitar, banjo, harmonica, whistles, and a sing-along or two.

Humanities Nebraska (HN) provides major funding for this program. HN receives support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Nebraska State Legislature, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and private donations like the Morton-James Public Library’s Harry and Grace Moller Endowment.
