Because of generous donations made to the Gary Gebhards Memorial, his family was able to help fund the new scoreboard at the City of Rock Port Baseball Field. The project is close to completion and includes a sign that says “In loving memory of Gary Gebhards.” Gary’s son, Tad, remarked, “Thanks to the City of Rock Port, Rock Port Park Board, Rock Port Youth Activities Association, Rock Port High School, and all who helped with the construction and installation of the new scoreboard and signs. It looks amazing. Hopefully, it stands for many years to show our family’s love for baseball, softball and the Rock Port community.” (Tad Gebhards photo)
