Spring into Spring with us! Our new menu cycle will be full of spring items with several different types of salad and fresh fruit when available.

Bingo! Bingo! Bingo! We would love to see our tables full again for bingo. Rock Port Senior Center holds bingo on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 9:45 a.m. Please bring a friend and stay for lunch. Tell your neighbor. We welcome all to join us.

We will have a new menu item making a come back here at the center – oven fried chicken! Look for our menu in the paper every week. Thank you, Atchison County Mail, for featuring us and supporting us.

Mother’s Day is coming up and we will have our Mother’s Day luncheon on Wednesday, May 6. Bring Mom out for Mom’s meat loaf! It is a favorite here at the center. We will be handing out flowers to moms all day!

We have a raffle for a quilt made and donated by Edie Beasing on display at Bank Midwest. All proceeds go to the Rock Port Senior Center to help support services provided to local senior citizens. You may purchase tickets at either Bank Midwest or the center: $5 per ticket or 3 tickets for $12. The drawing will be held June 1 during lunch.

Our squirrel feeder raffle winner was Judy Webster. Congratulations!

We are looking to start hosting a game night and need some interest. There is a sign-up sheet at the center for people who are interested in a Yahtzee game night. It has been discussed to hold game night on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. We will not schedule the game night until we have some people show interest. Please, feel free to suggest different days or times.
