The Tarkio High School Class of 2026 was honored at the annual Baccalaureate Service Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Good News Church in Tarkio, Missouri. This year’s seniors include: Harley Mitchell, Raelee Russell, Olivia Schaefer, Dylan Drummond, Bresayda Jimenez, Kennedy White, Zoe Madron, Emily Gebhards, Lilah Sjulin, Rainy Nordhausen, Jina Harbit, Robbie Armstrong, Mason McMahon, Brayden Smith, Bo Peregrine, Carter Wennihan, Quin Staten, Jonas Hurst, Isaac Vette, Gavyn Irvine, Kale Lekey, Noah McCoy, and Adrienne Phillips. The seniors and their families were treated to a dinner before the service.

Sid Cooper played a prelude on the piano and Rachel Graves with Good News Church welcomed all in attendance. The processional was to “How Great Thou Art.” Bo Peregrine read scriptures from Matthew and John. Isaac Vette also read scripture from John and then the Tarkio High School choir sang “Fill The Night With Singing.”

Senior members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes were recognized. Kennedy White read scripture from Luke. Rev. Jeff Doyle with the Tarkio Christian Church gave devotional thoughts. The closing hymn was “Take Time To Be Holy.” Rainy Nordhausen provided the closing prayer and the Forrest Frank postlude ended the evening’s festivities.

The night’s events were sponsored by the Tarkio Christian and Good News Churches. KJ’s and Kristy Umbarger provided the delicious food.
