The Tarkio High School Scholar Bowl Team competed in the 275 Conference Tournament in Craig, Missouri, April 1, 2026. The team placed 4th overall out of eight teams. The Tarkio High School Scholar Bowl Team competed in the 275 Conference Tournament April 1, 2026, in Craig, Missouri. Other teams competing (top 8 in the Conference) were: Jefferson, South Nodaway, South Holt, Mound City, West Nodaway, Nodaway-Holt, and DeKalb. Tarkio placed 4th overall. The team defeated South Nodaway in overtime 230 to 220, lost to the eventual champion Jefferson in the semifinals 180 to 300, and lost to South Holt in the 3rd place game 170 to 310.

Several Atchison County scholar bowl competitors earned All-Conference honors for their performance this season. They include: 1st Team – Finn Hurst (Tarkio) and Isaac Vette (Tarkio); and 2nd Team – Dalton Hogue (Tarkio) and Logan Lomax (Rock Port).
