The Atchison County Library will be hosting a used book sale at the Rock Port branch in the conference room this week. All items are 25¢ or available for a free-will donation. Books, DVDs, CDs, and more will be available from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, April 18.

The Tarkio Wolf Gamers Club is hosting a “Wolf Con” Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Tarkio High School. Games and food will be available and the event is open to the public.

A fundraiser meal for the Atchison County Traveling Day Camp will be held Sunday, April 19, at Fairfax Methodist Church (305 N. Broadway) from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. (while supplies last). Stop by and enjoy hand-breaded tenderloin sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, sides, and desserts, then enjoy entertainment provided by the Ladies in Black at 6:00 p.m. Freewill donations will be taken at both the meal and performance.

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance will host the spring community worship service Sunday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port, Missouri. Everyone is welcome to attend. Beta Gals will serve a benefit luncheon from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. See the article on page 2 for more details.
