Jonathan Charles Reed Brown, also known as “Jon Boy,” was born on June 26, 2000, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He passed away unexpectedly in a work accident on April 2, 2026, in Osceola, Missouri. He was 25 years old.
He was the son of Randy (adopted mother Christa) Brown and Kari (stepfather Frank) Pagnano.
Johnathan grew up in Missouri. He loved hunting, taking his son fishing, and turning wrenches in his free time. His favorite thing of all was spoiling his son.
His life was devoted to his wife and children and being the best husband and father a man could be. He loved his family dearly and was a friend to everyone that knew him. He was one of those people that no one could ever forget. He would take the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Judy Brown and Charlotte and Larry Moses; step-grandfather, Mike Pagnano, Sr.; and his adopted grandparents, Eva and Roger Bell. He is survived by his loving wife, Bailey Brown; children, Huntley Brown and Baby Brown; siblings, Akasha McClean, Stephany Harvey, Troy (Ashley) Hale, Randell (Kristina) Brown, Cayla Brown, Amber Tackitt, and Bobby Harvey, Jr; stepsisters, Amanda (Kyle) Cooper and Mercedes Pagnano; and step-grandmother, Susan Pagnano.
May those who loved Jonathan find peace and comfort in their memories of his enduring kindness, and unwavering love. A memorial fund has been set up at St. Clair County State Bank in Jonathan’s name.
