Orma Faye (Noble) Meier, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 7, 2026, at the age of 86.

She attended school in Tarkio, graduating in 1957, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tarkio College, later continuing her education at Northwest Missouri State University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Psychology.

On June 30, 1957, Orma married the love of her life, Robert Allen Meier, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Westboro, Missouri. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to family, raising three children: Phil, Janice, and Lorie. Their years together were a true partnership, filled with shared purpose and deep care for one another.

She found great joy in caring for her family and took special pride in supporting her grandchildren in all their activities. Whether it was a quiet moment or a busy gathering, time spent with her family meant everything to her.

Throughout her life, Orma wore many hats. She helped operate the Big T Motel in Tarkio for 12 years and later followed a calling to help others as a Licensed Professional Counselor, eventually opening her own private practice. She continued her work with Family Guidance in Cameron, Missouri, where she retired. Her compassion and listening heart touched many lives.

A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Westboro, Orma’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She also enjoyed camping and the simple pleasures of time spent with loved ones.
