Rock Port competed and earned multiple awards in the Missouri Western State University Chemathon April 17, 2026. Rock Port competed in the Chemistry I – Small Schools division which consists of a high school enrollment of 299 or less.

Those participating were Ryder Herron, Quentin Jackson, Ella Meyerkorth, Alexis Stanton, Skylar Stoner, and Norah Watkins. The team of Skylar, Quentin, and Ryder won second place in the Chemistry I Quiz Bowl competition and received a plaque.

Ryder Herron placed first overall on the written exam and received a medal, a certificate, a $500 scholarship, and a beaker mug. Skylar Stoner placed fourth overall on the written exam and received a certificate and a fidget spinner.
