THS seniors Isaac Vette, Quin Staten, and Emily Gebhards were recognized for being in band all four years. Quin was also in choir all four years.

The Tarkio High School band and choir students, along with the junior high band and choir and sixth grade band performed a spring concert for family and friends Monday, April 20, 2026, in the THS gym.
The sixth grade band kicked the night off with performances of “Bald Eagle March,” “High Hopes,” and “Mechanical Monsters.” Band members include: flutes – Elaine Henning, Joyce Martin, and Hannah Wennihan; clarinets – Rose England, Jarrett Jackson, and Alyce Wills; alto saxophones – Lynora Kimpston and Jaina Murray; trumpets – Jorja Peregrine and Victor Perez; trombone – Tavyn Smith; tuba – Diyan Patel; and percussion – Andrew Gladman and JJ Nichols.
The junior high choir took the spotlight next by singing “Coffee,” “My America,” and “May A Rainbow Run Beside You.” Choir members include Adilynn Bates, Faith Bennett, Alexis Caudill, Mame Dow, Jenne Gebhards, Ella Haler, Kennedi Irvine, Julien Jimenez, Koralyn Milla-Boomgaarn, JJ Rolf, Catherine Smith, Mikayla Smith, Lyla Walker, Aliyah Wilke, Brinkley Wright, Charlotte Wright, and Kenisyn Yost.
The junior high band took their seats to get the audience grooving in their seats with “Happy,” “Cornerstone,” “Anomaly,” and “Best Day Of My Life.” Band members include: flutes – Mame Dow, Jerald Goodin, Olivia Searl, and Lyla Walker; clarinets – Sophia Hegstrom, Katie Smith, Tucker Wheeler, Aliyah Wilke, Mikayla Windham, and Kenisyn Yost; alto saxophones – Brody Anderson, Winston Hogue, Tucker Hurst, and Kora Milla-Boomgarn; tenor saxophone – Brynleigh Lopez; trumpets – Ava Brown, Michael England, Ella Haler, Jackobi Robertson, and Bryar Wennihan; French horn – Andrew Romesser; trombones – Owen Bruce, Lexi Caudill, Landry Hurst, Graceyn Reeves, and Titus Wright; Baritone – Charlie Piper; tuba – Landon Driskell; and percussion – Tristan Burke, Eli Lundy, Cayson Martin, Jackson McElhaney, and Jasper Navin.
The high school choir took to the risers next. The entire group, just the girls, and the men’s State Music Contest qualifiers all sang. Songs performed included: “Dona Nobis Pacem,” “From The River To The Sea,” “Alleluia!,” “Dark Brown Is The River,” and “Down Among The Dead Men.” Choir members are Danika Agnew, Jeremy Bomar, Keely Bredensteiner, Bella Bywater, Rhoni Caudill, Gabriella Hogue, Finn Hurst, Xabrina Klinger, Xachary Klinger, Zoe Madron, Annalise Martin, Joshua Schlueter, Quin Staten, Macy Stepp, Teagan Taylor, Isaac Vette, Owen Vette, Gracie Walker, Elliott Walker, Bailey Wennihan, Brody Wennihan, Delainee White, Azlynn Wiley, and Taya Windham.

Following the concert, the senior band members autographed conductor Nathaniel Wehymeyer’s podium so that he will always remember his students as they move on to the rest of their lives. These students included Emily Gebhards, Jina Harbit, Quin Staten, Olivia Schaefer, and Isaac Vette. Awards were then presented to choir and band students for their dedications to their performances (if they were absent at the concert, they are not mentioned as not all names were provided):
