The Kids’ Summer Meals program will begin May 20. The Tarkio Nutrition Center will serve another season of nutritious, hot lunches – completely free for every child in the community.

This year they are taking the program a step further by introducing a brand‑new delivery option through the Fairfax Library. Thanks to a collaboration with the library, families can now pre‑order a meal each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and pick it up at the library from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To secure a spot, call 660-736-5725 during the ordering window Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Meals are reserved on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so be sure to call in advance.

The Tarkio Nutrition Center is located at 412 Main Street in Tarkio. The Fairfax Library is located at 118 E. Main Street.
