Thanks to their quick action and the quick response of the Rock Port First Responders and Atchison-Holt Ambulance, Brad has made a full recovery after  having a medical emergency at work.

Brad Boyer, left presented a certificate to Jim Downing, manager, right, in appreciation for the lifesaving measures that Jim and the staff at Northwest Missouri Industries performed.

On Friday, May 8, 2026, Crystal Woodring, the Northwest Missouri Living Center director, and board members came to Northwest Missouri Industries, Inc. in Rock Port, Missouri, for a special recognition. Earlier this year, the team at Northwest Missouri Industries had one of their clients collapse. CPR was performed and a defibrillator was used to save the life of Brad Boyer.

Following his recovery, Brad presented a certificate to Jim Downing, NWMI manager, in appreciation for the lifesaving measures that Jim and the staff performed.

Along with the certificate of appreciation, the Northwest Missouri Living Center also donated a defibrillator to be kept on site.
