The Blue Jays traveled to Oregon, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 5, to take on the Knights of South Holt.

Both teams were held scoreless through five innings, until the top of the sixth when Rock Port tallied eight runs. The Blue Jays added another six runs in the seventh to come out on top 14-0.

This offensive firepower was propelled by two homeruns from sophomore Rylan Hunter and a grand slam from senior Dylan Lair.

Case Millsap was dominant on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout while only allowing six baserunners and striking out 14 more.

This marked the last conference game for the Blue Jays, and they sit with a record of 19-3.

Rock Port will host Mid-Buchanan Wednesday, May 13. The Blue Jays will also recognize senior ball players, golfers, and track athletes.

Districts begin on Friday, May 15, in Rock Port. The Blue Jays earned the first seed and will enter on Monday, May 18, after a first-round bye.
